Our Story

The first weekend was called ‘fun at the mill’ and was held in May 1998, and has been an annual event ever since. Only 2014 festival was missed.

The next festival is on Saturday and Sunday 3rd and 4th September 2016

And will be held at – Sarehole Mill, Colebank Road, Hall Green, Birmingham B13 0BD

Car parking is £2 per vehicle

Hall Green is the nearest train station, and then a 20 minute walk down the road!

On the number 11 bus route

On the number  5 bus route from Birmingham city centre

Admission is free, although some activities do charge

Many people use the festival as a chance to dress up in middle earth costume, there is even a costume pageant every day, so why not try your hand at making your own costume for this year!!
